Ms Jenny Chan has been working in the media for more than a decade.

 

Graduated from CUHK with a bachelor degree of Chinese literature and a master of Journalism, Jenny started her career in media in a newspaper, then ATV, TVB, RTHK TV Division and Information Service Department of the government. She works on and off-screen. She speaks 4 languages, mother-tongue Cantonese, English, Mandarin and French. 

 

In her TVB era, she hosted news and weather programmes in Cantonese and English. Meanwhile, she produced bilingual articles and advertising copies, the online magazine of The Chinese Manufacturer's Association as an example. She was awarded a scholarship of Thomson Reuters London in 2011 to study Finance reporting in London. By far she has two books published and currently available in bookstores.

 

She has been teaching English since 2004 and was invited for 3 consecutive years to give public speaking courses in Hong Kong Wah Yan College. She gave similar lessons for Y.E.S. of the Labour Department as well.

 

She has passed the Delf B2 exam, a test of French proficiency of foreigners which is the level to talk about current affairs. She took courses in Nice by Alliance Française in 2015 and courses in Institut Catholique de Paris in 2017. Now she does numerous PR events, translations and TV productions in French.

 

Jenny runs this media production agency JC PIXIE MEDIA specialised in hosting and organising events and shows in 4 languages, news production, dubbing for TV programmes and commercials, translations, online marketing and book/column writing. She is also part-time theatre actress.
